GoodSync Enterprise Deployment with Active Directory

GoodSync Enterprise software is a tool that was specifically designed to be deployable from Active Directory in an Enterprise environment to synchronize or backup a large number of computers connected to a domain controller. • Installation and license activation on individual workstations can be performed centrally using command-line options from Active Directory.
• A rich set of command-line options allows a full description of virtually any one-way or two-way sync or backup action. A synchronization job can be created and deleted in one batch file leaving no trace of its existence on the workstation that was backed up or synchronized. Sync/backup action can be performed by system administrator without creating a GoodSync job on user workstation.
• The ability to use Windows environment variables in file and folder paths provides the ability to write one script flexible enough to be deployed for every enterprise user.
• The command-line only version of GoodSync allows the system administrator to perform a "ghost backup" - execute backup tasks transparently for the data owner.
• GoodSync can be set-up to save log files to a specified location or e-mail them through the default MAPI client.
