How To Sync/Back up Windows Mobile Devices

The following information will guide you on how to properly setup a sync or backup with your Windows Mobile device:

Note: You need to make sure that you have ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center installed on your PC.

1. Connect your Windows Mobile device to your computer.
2. Start GoodSync and create a new job: Job > New.
3. Click Browse on the left side and select WinMobile from the menu on the left side.

   

4. Select your Windows Mobile device in the window, and then the folder you would like to sync or back up to, click OK.

   

5. Click Browse on the right side, selecting where you would like to back up or sync your data to.

   Note: by default you are performing a sync, if you want to back up instead, first select Job > Options > 1- Way Left to Right, and then continue with step 5)

6. Start the sync/backup process by clicking the Analyze button.
7. Click the Sync button to complete your sync/backup.
