What's New in GoodSync 9
The wait is over; the next era of GoodSync begins. Over the past months we've gathered significant feedback from our users to develop this version and we want to thank all who helped. GoodSync 9 was designed with you in mind. Some of our more popular new features are summarized below.
All New GoodSync Connect -- Build Your Own Cloud
GoodSync Connect allows users to connect two computers directly, in a peer-to-peer style, without using intermediate servers that store your files.
Simply setup a GoodSync Connect account through the software, install GoodSync on each computer you want to sync, and use this GoodSync Connect account on all computers. Then you can create sync jobs that sync folders between your computers directly.

More Cloud Destinations
For users who have cloud-based services already, GoodSync 9 also includes the ability to easily sync with other external services such as Google Docs, Windows Azure, Amazon Cloud Drive, and SkyDrive.
File and Folder Move/Rename Detection
GoodSync 9 detects file renames and executes them as Move commands. Folder moves and renames are handled as well.
Select Multiple Folders to Sync
Now you can select multiple folders to sync (not just one), in one job.
Before, in ver 8, it had to be achieved with Filters.
Select Individual Files to Sync
Now you can select specific files to sync, not just the entire folders.
Fixing Access Denied Errors
A part of GoodSync always runs in elevated mode, so it handles file operations that would otherwise cause Access Denied error and require User Account Control elevation.
GoodSync Explorer -- Get Your Files Remotely From Any Computer
Did you forget that Word document at the office? No problem. Using GoodSync Connect you can connect to your computer to browse, access and transfer files. You'll no longer need to email documents between computers as GoodSync can connect them directly.
Bookmarks make it easier to get to password-protected servers
You can save any server address and credentials into Bookmark and later use it in a job.
GoodSync also shows virtual bookmarks, a list of non-repeating credentials assembled form your sync jobs.
Your Own WebDAV server for any GoodSync Bookmark
You can make GoodSync server folders from any GoodSync Bookmark (Connectoid),
so that Windows Explorer can show them as a regular folder tree.
