The following information will guide you on how to properly setup a sync or backup with your QuickBooks data:
*Note: QuickBooks stores all its data in one file in the format CompanyName.QBW. In addition, QuickBooks also holds a backup of files and keeps it in .QBB format.
We recommend to back up the .QBW file and to sync the .QBB files to make sure all files are backed up and are updated.
QuickBooks must be closed before you start the sync or backup.
1) Start GoodSync and click Browse on the left side and find the QuickBooks files to sync or back up.
2) Click Browse on the right side to select location to sync with or back up to.
*Note: by default you are performing a sync, if you want to back up instead, first select Job > Options > 1- Way Left to Right, and then continue with step 2)
3) Start the sync/backup process by clicking the Analyze button.
4) Click the Sync button to complete your sync/backup.
